Entertaining Thriller

Even the movie is entertaining, narration is gripping, but the final sequences seem too stretched beyond a point. It should have been ended much earlier, we get the feeling. Also the movie needs lot of trimming as the director has focused on many unnecessary scenes in the episode of Avika Gor. There are many lags too. All in all, “Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada” is entertaining to the core. Minor issues apart, the movie is right one for this weekend watch.

Haunted by love!

First half of the film uninteresting except for last 15 minutes, where the real story is revealed. Second half is engaging and has ample entertainment. Plus points are Nikhil, screenplay in second half and entertainment in second half. On the flipside, major part of first half is not good as director didn’t succeed in getting love episode and casual comedy scenes right. Another best thing about this film is that there are no gory Holloween faces which we usually see in horror films. Nikhil who has been delivering decent films recently doesn’t disappoint you with Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada if you don't mind an unengaging first half.

Worth your money

Nikhil has earned himself an image of doing some different films and it is once again proved with Ekkadiki Potavu Chinnavada. The film is really different from the regular horror comedies and has some very interesting moments to watch out for. Decent comedy and some unexpected twists are major assets for this film. If you ignore some boring moments during the initial part of the first half, this film makes up for a decent watch this weekend.

Super Chinnoda

You cannot miss this one if you are a sucker for horror comedies. You cannot miss this one if you are looking for novel entertainment amid the routine masala that we are served at a regular basis. You cannot miss it if you are looking for good, clean, fun movie. Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is a supreme entertainer with its heart and 'soul' at the right place.

Staying true to the 'soul'

'EPC' keeps the audience guessing. The emotional content is convincing. The performances are impressive. Technically sound. It needn't have been shorter, but the pre-climax and climax portions could have been better fleshed out.

Nikhil Siddharth Back On Success Track

Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavadaa begins with a failure love story of Nikhil Siddharth which builds his character as the one who never like to wait for someone or something. This half runs in the same way that every Telugu movie run with comedy scenes without revealing any story but just setting up the story which reveals as an interval bang. Despite of its routine screenplay of comedy sequences it is highly entertaining. It ends with an unexpected twist which at a point everyone find it surprising and the eagerness to watch the other half goes sky high. Second half begins on an interesting note and runs with a gripping screenplay which is highly entertaining. Director VI Anand has done fantastic work with his second film. He should be appreciated for not going away from his story. To summarise, this movie brings Nikhil back on success track.

An engaging thriller

Right from the opening credits, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada leaves you wanting to know more – makes you wait for “what’s next”. And the entire movie carries the same mood. Every time you feel like the narrative is slowing down, a new twist or an advancement keeps you hooked. Director Vi Anand seems to have found a way of convincingly presenting the unusual genre of a romantic thriller. An engaging thriller and an enthralling story – Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is an honest narrative delivered well.
