Silly Romantic Drama

Prudhvi’s comedy in the first half is okay and evokes fun here and there. Heroine Simran looks good and does well in her village girl role. Looks wise, hero Aashish Raj is decent but needs to get his diction right.The film is filled with illogical and stupid scenes to no extent. Comedy characters keep coming in at regular intervals and sidetrack the film. 

On the whole, Ego is a disappointing romantic drama which does not have any depth in the proceedings.

Good in parts

Ashish who was Introduced with the movie Aakathayi played the lead in the film Ego. Simran who made her debut as a heroine is good in terms of looks and performance. The movie reveals the story of a guy who's unnecessarily involved in a case. How he came out of it is the major hook point in the movie.

On a whole, the movie is good in parts and could have been much better than what it was now.
