Woah! I'm really loving the templatetheme of this website. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's hard to get that perfect balance between usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a great job with this. In addition, the blog loads super quick for me on Firefox. Excellent Blog! eedkcbaegccegefd

At par with world cinema

I haven’t seen Thani Oruvan and I haven’t bothered to know about story as well. Hence whatever I have written here is from a fresh perspective. Dhruva is an unique and intelligent tale where hero and villain don't want to kill each other. They just want to kill the spirit in each other. We have a few films in the history of cinema where audiences fall in love with the villain character (ex: Joker in The Dark Knight). Plus points of the film are story, screenplay, performances and technical values. On the flipside the runtime is lengthy and there are a few scenes that appear dragged. Dhruva is one such a kind of film that kills the familiarity and routine (except for a couple of love-related scenes with heroine and a bit of comedy projected scenes through Posani character). Making an unfamiliar film and keeping it engaging throughout is a rare feat and Surender Reddy deserves an applause for it (though it’s a remake). Solid story, engaging screenplay and riveting performances make Dhruva an intelligent thriller which is at par with any of Hollywood or Korean films (thanks to Mohan Raja). Go and watch it!a

Intelligent Action Thriller!

Mind Game of Hero & Villain has been designed so well. Sequence where Villain holds an upper hand over Hero is a major highlight in 'Dhruva'. It's a high-point during the Interval Bang. In the Second Half, Villain keeps challenging Hero's intelligence. The love proposal sequence of Lead Pair hits the right chord with the audience. But, One must say Second Half isn't as crisp as First Half and that lowers the impact a bit. It's too early to say how Mass Audience will receive the Climax sans any fight. Even the narration of 'Dhruva' is very different from regular commercial entertainers. Though it have an intelligent screenplay, Logic goes for a toss in few sequences. Overall, 'Dhruva' is a must watch film for audience who enjoy thrillers and unique subjects.

Good intelligent thriller

On the whole, Dhruva is a perfect comeback film for Charan. He should be credited for choosing a unique film like this and giving his best through a standout performance. The engaging narration, interesting twists and some superb mind games are huge assets of this film. The film will impress each and every section of the audience and is bound to do well. If you ignore the small glitches here and there, this film is a perfect action entertainer to watch out this weekend.

Thrilling Duel

Surender Reddy made subtle changes to the script without disturbing the feel of the original. He made sure not to glorify the hero in spite of having a superstar like Charan in the lead. Thani Oruvan's greatest strength is the antagonist character; thankfully Dhruva makers realized it and didn't mess with it. Second half is total paisa vasool for action movie lovers and for those who look for something different from the usual masala stuff. It may not appeal to the hardcore mass audiences who crave for comedy and other entertaining elements. Apart from few glitches on the logical front, Dhruva is worth every penny for its strong script and thoroughly engaging screenplay. It is the first step for Charan who is desperately seeking an image makeover.

Dhruva Shines As ‘Dhruva’tara.

Dhruva is a stylish cop entertainer. Multiplex audiences and thriller movie lovers will enjoy the film to the core. However, the movie may not appeal to mass spectators who enjoy masala entertainers. Overall, Dhruva has probabilities to become a winner at box office.

Gamechanger For Ram Charan

It begins with the birth of Siddharth Abhimanyu and travels through his ideology and his opportunism. This first half runs with an engaging and racy screenplay. Those who expect a laugh riot first half, this is not for you for some situational laughs. Twists and thrills in this half are nicely packed. Interval comes at a point where audience are fully engaged and the screenplay disappoints a bit for thirty to forty minutes in the second half and then picks the pace. This movie is a complete makeover and gamechanger for Ram Charan and he is to be patted for his hard work. Director Surendar Reddy succeeded well in portraying a stylish and intelligent script with an engaging screenplay on screen. To summarise, Dhruva is a hit added to the kitty of Ram Charan and have to wait how huge it turns out to be in coming days.

Weak compared to its original, Thani Oruvan

Dhruva is a remake that has gone very wrong. Of course, moviegoers who have not watched the Tamil original can catch Dhruva and treat it as a completely new movie. But we all know the script is not original. It's cut, copy, paste and spiced up. Even the dialogues are the same! Dhruva is an intelligent movie that tells the tale of two intelligent people who are at war but those extra songs simply bring the quality down. It's almost as if we here are compelled by some unexplained force to add more of this 'entertainment weight'.

Ram Charan Teja, Arvind Swami steal the show

A strong hero needs a strong villain. Get that balance right and you have a hit on your hand. Dhruva, starring Ram Charan Teja as a cop and Arvind Swami as his nemesis, understands this dictum and that is where its brilliance lies.
