Bottu

దర్శకుడు వి.సి.వ‌డివుడ‌యాన్ మంచి కాన్సెప్ట్ తో ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తెరకెక్కించాడు. ముఖ్యంగా ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ లో వచ్చే ‘బొట్టు’ తాలూకు కథ చాలా బాగా ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. అలాగే బొట్టు పాత్ర.. ఆ పాత్రకు సంబంధించిన ట్రాక్..

దర్శకుడు వి.సి.వ‌డివుడ‌యాన్ రాసుకున్న కాన్సెప్ట్.. అలాగే ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ సన్నివేశాలు బాగున్నప్పటికీ.. కథ కథనాల్లో మాత్రం ప్లో మిస్ అయింది. ముఖ్యంగా ఆయన రాసుకున్న కథనం ఆకట్టుకొన్నే విధంగా లేదు.

‘ప్రేమిస్తే’ ఫేమ్ భరత్ హీరోగా వి.సి.వ‌డివుడ‌యాన్ దర్శకుడిగా హర్రర్ కాన్సెప్ట్ తో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ హర్రర్ కామెడీ ఎంటర్టైనర్ పూర్తి స్థాయిలో ఆకట్టుకునే విధంగా సాగలేదు. సినిమా కాన్సెప్ట్.. అలాగే ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ సన్నివేశాలు బాగున్నప్పటికీ….

The concept of the film is quite interesting. The manner in which the flashback of Bottu is showcased is pretty impressive. All the scenes showcasing this episode have been executed well.

After starting the film on an impressive note, the flow in the proceedings goes for a toss. Apart from this, the irritating comedy does not help matters much. The first fifteen minutes in the second half are very slow.

On the whole, Bottu is a good script gone wrong kind of a film. The makers had good scope to elevate the proceedings but they did not utilize it.
