The subject of fake certification looks quite relatable and contemporary as the issue has become a hot topic these days. The manner in which the mafia operates these scams and fake certificates are created and circulated has been showcased well in the film.

Off late, the problem with many movies is the second half. The director ends the first half well and loses the grip on the second.

On the whole, Arjun Suravaram is an engaging crime thriller with a novel concept. The thrills showcased, breezy narration and Nikhil’s performance are basic assets. 

For the uninitiated, Arjun Suravaram is the Telugu remake of the 2016 Tamil film Kanithan, also helmed by TN Santhosh, who happens to be AR Murugadoss’ prodigy. 

With so much going on, it’s no surprise that the film takes its own sweet time setting up the characters and ensuring you invest at least in some of them. The way the film begins is interesting, wasting no time in showing just how dire Arjun’s situation really is.

With a much tighter screenplay and a straightforward approach, this could’ve been gold and it is for the most part. The cinematic liberties taken to solve the mystery too are nagging, but nothing that can’t be ignored.

Arjun Suravaram is one of the exciting projects in recent times. Hero Nikhil has been waiting for the release of this movie for a long time and finally, the movie hits the screens today. The film stars Lavanya Tripathi as the heroine

Nikhil went under the skin of the character and has delivered his best performance in this movie. The actor has blended well with the character and justifies the role completely. Lavanya Tripathi looked absolutely gorgeous in the film.

Having an interesting plotline has become a major plus for this movie. The film starts off on an interesting note. The first 30minutes itself will grab the attention of the audience. The movie has a slow-paced narration which is the biggest minus point.

Nikhil Siddharth has done a neat job as a reporter. He is sincere in his effort. Vennela Kishore gets a meaty role as a lawyer. 

The film has visual beauty and apt technical values. The cinematography is an asset. Editing is racy at some places, and sluggish at other places. 

A remake of a Tamil movie, ‘Arjun Suravaram’ begins on a slow note. A dull start with the introduction of the hero’s characterization, his love story with heroine Lavanya Tripathi and some comedy sequences put off the mood.

First striking feature of ‘ Arjun Suravaram ‘ is production values. Producers have spent a good amount on this film and can be seen in various scenes. Story has a social message theme with fake degree mafia backdrop.

Nikhil Siddharth got a role that would have elevated his range more . He performed well, supported by all other cast. Lavanya Tripathi role is half baked and nothing much to rave about.

Arjun Suravaram has engaging first half with it’s different backdrop , gets into repetitive mode in second Half. If more creative stuff is infused to second half , this film would have hit success milestone.

కథాంశం ఏదైనా.. అందులో కమర్షియల్ హంగులు కచ్చితంగా ఉండాలని భావిస్తారు కొందరు ఫిలిం మేకర్స్. తమిళంలో హిట్ అయిన ‘గణిదన్’ సినిమాను ఇదే తరహాలో నడిపించాడు కొత్త దర్శకుడు టి.ఎన్.సంతోష్. యూత్ కనెక్టయ్యే ఫేక్ సర్టిఫికెట్ల కుంభకోణం చుట్టూ కథను అల్లి.. 

‘అర్జున్ సురవరం’కు సంబంధించి పెద్ద ప్లస్ పాయింట్.. ఫేక్ సర్టిఫికెట్ల మాఫియా చుట్టూ కథను అల్లడం. కంటెంటపరరీగా అనిపించే ఈ పాయింట్ తో మెజారిటీ ప్రేక్షకులు రిలేట్ అవుతారు. కాకపోతే దీన్ని మరీ పెద్దది చేసి.. నమ్మశక్యం కాని విధంగా చూపించడం మైనస్. 

సామ్ సి.ఎస్. పాటలు జస్ట్ ఓకే అనిపిస్తాయి. నేపథ్య సంగీతం సినిమాకు ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచింది. కథనంలో ఉత్కంఠ పెంచడంలో బ్యాగ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ కీలక పాత్ర పోషించింది. సూర్య ఛాయాగ్రహణం కూడా బాగుంది. నిర్మాణ విలువలు సినిమా స్థాయికి తగ్గట్లుగా ఉన్నాయి.

Somewhere in the film, Lavanya's character says with a trace of anxiety in her voice that what might be unfolding in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana could be bigger than the Vyapam scam (the real-life scam in Madhya Pradesh cutting across politicians, middlemen, bureaucrats and students).

While the storyline packs a punch, the narration has one too many loose ends.  Fifteen news channels air special bulletins on the fake certificate racket all at once and the villain (Tarun Arora of 'Khaidi No. 150' fame) inexplicably but correctly suspects that a reporter must have ensured it. 

The premise and storyline are exciting.  Good performances and some nice technical output help.  The action scenes should have been gripping.
