Fails to reach the sky high expectations

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan who played the character of Abhishikth Bhargav did a super job. He is in almost every frame in first half and he is good in emotional sequences and action sequences. Anirudh Ravichander who is getting into Telugu film industry as a music director has given a nice album.

This movie might satisfy Pawan Kalyan fans but disappoint Trivikram fans. To sum up, Agnyathavaasi fails to reach the sky high expectations with its flat screenplay.

The film lacks soul

Despite all the pomp and show, irrespective of its flaws, 'Agnyaathavaasi' could have still been an amazing ride had it either been taken seriously or been made with the same old Trivikram-Pawan Kalyan touch However, all is not lost, 'Agnyaathavaasi' still has the 'Powerstar' as the lead, so the ride is not all unenjoyable.

The film has a few humorous scenes and a fight scene right before the interval stands out. But watch this one just for the story and you won't be disappointed!

It is not AD 2 it is Puli 2

Pawan Kalyan is his usual self-full of energy. There is nothing else to write home about. Everything is so predictable, and repetitiveness makes it almost look embarrassing. Entire concentration is put on visuals rather than working on the right content. Only few action scenes and a couple of comedy punches work.

Overall, even the hardcore fans find it very difficult watching the film.

A massive dud

Pawan Kalyan is in his elements. He did his best to keep the spirits alive and in fact he has gone overboard at times as there is literally no content in many scenes. Aadhi Pinisetty makes an impression with his stylish looks. But all Trivikram managed to deliver is a disaster of sorts. He faltered in every department.

The combination craze and festival season should help it to some extent, but on a whole it is a massive dud from the superstar duo.

Trivikram’s magic missing

Yet another biggest and obvious asset is Pawan Kalyan, who carries the film on his shoulders. He looks menacing in fights and does well in certain comedy episodes with Murali Sharam and Rao Ramesh. The story of the film is quite simple and does not provide much content wise. The film is slow-paced with no proper flow and is dragged most of the times.

The only saving grace of the film is Pawan Kalyan as he carries the entire film on his shoulders. Keep your expectations completely in check while watching this film.

A Huge Let Down

Pawan Kalyan has appeared in classy avatar after a long gap, he is excellent in the role of Abhishikt Bhargav. Both the lead actresses don’t have much role. Keerthy is beautiful. Anu Emmanuel as PA is okay. “Agnyaathavaasi” is such a lavishly shot movie. Each shot is classy and rich with beauty. The total second half goes downhill.

Although the climax is handled better, it doesn’t save the film. Anirudh’s music is catchy but the songs are not effective on screen. It will be known as a bad movie in Trivikram’s career.
