2 Countries

Bad writing

Sunil as Ullas Kumar is good. He tried to bring laughter in audience but failed. Manisha Raj as Laya is good. Story of 2 Countries is routine and the screenplay is badly written which fails to engage audience and dialogues are just okay.

Director has failed to get good writing which in turn spoiled actors performance and which in turn made the whole work of team look silly.

Fails to impress

Performances wise, Sunil is not good in this movie as has played a role which he has already played in the past. The new lady Manisha Raj is far from Telugu nativity and she hardly makes any impression with her performance or screen presence.

Two countries is one of those films that clearly fails to impress. N Shankar who is back to the direction after a long time has played a safe game by directing a remake.

Big Bore!

Sunil is not in shape (physically) and he's out of form (acting-wise). Newcomer Manisha Raj has good looks but she is too inexperienced to play the alcohol addict that was originally played by Mamta Mohandas.

All we get to see is Sunil imitating other stars and uttering dialogues in different ways to generate some laughs. However, not a single joke or dialogue brings at least a smile. Post-interval, the movie offers some watchable moments but it soon drifts into 'what the frog' zone again. A lot of farce happens in the name of comedy. All in all, this is another Sunil's movie that gives headache to the viewers, totally avoidable.

2 కంట్రీస్.. కాలం చెల్లిన కామెడీ!

సునీల్ గురించి ఏమని చెప్పాలి..? కథల ఎంపికలో అతడు ఎటు పోతున్నాడో అర్థం కాని పరిస్థితి. అతను పెద్దగా డ్యాన్సులు.. ఫైట్ల జోలికి పోకుండా సామాన్యుడిలా ఉండే ప్రయత్నం చేసినా.. కథ ఎంపికలో మళ్లీ తప్పటడుగు వేయడంతో ఇంప్రెస్ చేయలేకపోయాడు. హీరోయిన్ మనీషా రాజ్ చూడ్డానికి బాగానే కనిపిస్తుంది. నటన పర్వాలేదు. రామ్ ప్రసాద్ ఛాయాగ్రహణం బాగానే ఉంది. యుఎస్ ఎపిసోడ్ మొత్తాన్ని రిచ్ గా తీశాడు. ప్రొడక్షన్ వాల్యూస్ కు ఢోకా లేదు. నిర్మాత కూడా అయిన శంకర్ బాగానే ఖర్చు చేశాడు. ఎక్కడా రాజీ పడలేదు. శ్రీధర్ సీపాన డైలాగుల గురించి ఎంత తక్కువ మాట్లాడుకుంటే అంత మంచిది. దర్శకుడు శంకర్ శైలికి నప్పని సినిమా ఇది. అలాగే ఈ కథకు సునీల్ ను ఎంచుకోవడమూ కరెక్ట్ కాదనిపిస్తుంది.

ప్రథమార్ధంలో బావుంది అనిపించే మూమెంట్ కోసం బూతద్దం పెట్టి వెతికినా కనిపించదు. ఇక ద్వితీయార్ధమంతా యుఎస్ నేపథ్యంలోనే సాగుతుంది. రిచ్ లొకేషన్లలో భారీ తారాగణంతో ద్వితీయార్ధాన్ని నడిపించారు కానీ.. ఇక్కడ కూడా కథాకథనాల్లో ఏ ప్రత్యేకతా లేకపోయింది. కామెడీకి విరామం ఇచ్చి. చివర్లో కొంచెం ఎమోషన్ల మీద కథ నడిపించడం వల్ల ‘2 కంట్రీస్’ చివర్లో కొంచెం పర్వాలేదనిపిస్తుంది. అలాగని అక్కడా ఏ కొత్తదనం లేదు.
