Biography
S.S.Thaman is a renowned new age music composer in Tollywood, known for his fresh take on Telugu music. Taman comes from a generation of singers and filmmakers as his grandfather Ghantasala Balaramayya was an ace producer and his father Ghantasala Siva Kumar worked as a Drummer for 700 films under composer K.Chakravarthy. Thaman picked up the passion for music at a young age and by the time he was 9, he started assisting S.P.Bala Subrahmanyam and others as a rhythm pad player.
Thaman was assisting other music composers for 14 years and out of which he spent, 3 years with Raj - Koti and 3 years with M.M.Keeravani and 6 and a half years with Mani Sharma. Taman debuted with Kick (2009) as a music director in Tollywood and Golmaal 4 marks his Bollywood debut.
