Sumanth Akkineni is a popular Tollywood actor and the grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Sumanth debuted into Tollywood in 1999, with Ram Gopal Varma's film 'Prema Katha' and then experienced a steady career with following films like 'Yuvakudu', 'Pelli Sambandham' e.t.c… In 2003, Sumanth was suddenly shot to fame with the film 'Satyam'. Satyam was produced by Nagarjuna and was the biggest grosser of the year. Sumanth we onto make other hits like 'Gauri' and 'Pourudu' and others.
Sumanth starred in Shekhar Kammula's 2006 film 'Godavari' and said it is Sumanth's most honest films yet.
