Biography

Born as Ramanaidu Daggubati, Rana was the son of renowned producer D.Suresh Babu and the grand son of movie mughal D.Ramanaidu. The star was born in Chennai but did his schooling at Hyderabad Public school, Hyderabad. Rana entered films as a VFX co ordinator and worked of Mahesh Babu's Sainikudu. His VFX for the film had won a Nandi for best special effects. He realised his zeal for acting and went on to star in his debut 'Leader' with Sekhar Kammula for which he won the film fare for best debut South (male). His appearance in Krish's Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum won him critical acclaim and the star rode on a high tide until the latest outing Nene Raju Nene Mantri.

The Bahubali saga in which he played the main antagonist went on to become the highest grosser in the history of Indian Cinema and helped the star gain a nation wide presence. Apart from acting, Rana also is the owner of Telugu Titans (Kabaddi team) and Baahubali Boxers (Boxing team). He also hosts his own talk show No.1 Yaari, Which is the highest rated TRP asa of now and Rana had also ventured into web series with Social. The star also is developing an app called Quan, where all the creative ideas can be dumped to be selected by actors and producers if found interesting.
