Biography
R.Madhavan is popularly known as Madhavan and Maddy and is a prominent actor in Kollywood. His debut film Alaipayuthey (Sakhi in Telugu) was a huge hit both critically and commercially and is still considered a classic. Though Madhavan hasn't done a straight Telugu film in his 17 years long acting career, he is popular for all the movies that were dubbed for his Tamil and Hindi languages.
He is going to act alongside Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for an upcoming film directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

Madhavan is pure vegetarian and in October, 2010, Madhavan urged the CEO of KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) to stop the mistreatment and killing of birds.
